Press Release Body: Reston, Va., [September 25, 2008] Applied Knowledge Group, Inc.
(AKG) has been engaged to provide SharePoint support and provide a blended learning
solution for users in the Virginia Bar Association’s Model Judiciary Program’s Young
Lawyers Division. In addition to technical expertise and training development and
delivery, AKG will also provide hosting services for the Model Judiciary Program’s
SharePoint implementation.

The purpose of the SharePoint implementation is to create a virtual work environment
that will enable its more than 300 widely dispersed participants including students,
teachers, regional coordinators, advisors and judges to easily collaborate across
its five Virginia regions. The Model Judiciary Program enables Virginia’s youth to
learn about the Virginia legal system by having them participate in mock trials and
hearings under the guidance of a volunteer group of legal experts. Any public or
private school in Virginia can participate in this program.

Pamela Harris-Vet, AKG’s Director of Professional Services, noted “We are proud to
be able to work with this fine organization and support their efforts to help
educate teens about the Virginia legal system. This SharePoint implementation
provides them an easy-to-use tool that will extend their capabilities to encourage
young people to become involved in the legal profession.”
